Ecology, Technologies, Culture in Modern World: Problems vs. Solution” Conference proceeds in Moscow, M. A. Sholokhov Moscow State University for the Humanities October 25–26, 2010

Present conference continues tradition of forming intellectual space for discussing actual problems of ecology in our university. In October of last year International Conference ”Ecological Problems of Global World” was held. 15 countries, more than 20 cities and regions of Russia took part in it, miscellany of materials and program were published. Site of the Conference was visited by more than 1000 users.

Suggesting the topic of the Conference, organizers understand all the responsibility of combining such different phenomena in their relation to the environment. Modern technologies are aggressive and expansive towards environment. Ecology and culture aspire to limit engineering development, humanize technologies, creating mechanisms of economic development within nature possibilities.

Ecology knows no limit. However each country, each people develop first of all within the national ecosystem. Unity of a landscape and ethnos, the nature and economy, those create «national images of the world» (G.D.Gachev), unique cultures which it is impossible to import or deliver for export. The technology in its ecological measurement is level of harmonization of natural potential of territory and people intellectual wealth. The unification is the lien of prosperity of any country.

Presence of the word “Vs” – “versus” isn’t occasional in the name of the conference. We invite you to realize and understand what ecological technologies are together with us:

What are the ways to coordination of society requirements with nature possibilities? What’s the ecological meaning of innovational technologies?

Proposed main issues of the Conference will be following:

Mission of ecological culture in the modern world

Ecological education in the system of qualifications of professional experts

Aforesaid blocks are invoked to structure the conference program, will be presented in plenary sections, will label the main sections, define logic of preparing the final document. Proceedings of the Conference will be published.

Deadlines and guidelines

Information for participants

For participating in the Conference «Ecology, technologies, culture in the modern world: problems versus decisions», it is necessary to present the demand and heads of the report to Organizing committee in electronic form. Theses are accepted in Russian and English languages. Period of acceptance of applications and theses – until July, 30th, 2010

Reports in volume no more than three printing pages of format А4 are executed in format of Microsoft Office Word. Font Times New Roman or Times New Roman Cyr 12 px. Alignment of the basic text on width of sheet with fields of 2 cm from all directions. Line spacing – unary. Space – 1,0 cm, without headlines; the text is leveled on width; automatic carrying over is possible. Title and summary in English is a must.
